Oak Hill, East Blackwood

Oak Hill

In the late spring of R.c.Y 1023, a force of Embassy Guard, Thoringaard and other mercenaries liberated a ruined Razash'Dai village from the Black Dynasty.  Immediately following the liberation, the East Blackwood Company go to work on restoring the small town.  William Klatch led East Blackwood's restoration efforts.  By late fall of that same year, the town was ready enough to host a festival to commemorate the liberation of the town and life itself.  In the early months of the following year the town was officially named Oak Hill (Aichenhügel) and currently serves as the capital of the Barony of East Blackwood.

Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood

As the Baron of East Blackwood, Sir Dagger Arkenstone serves as lord of Oak Hill.  Dagger's current heir is Lady Lovis Arkenstone of the Western Seal.

The Salty Stick Tavern

During the Convent of the Elements in the Realms Year of 1019, the East Blackwood Embassy formed the idea to build up their docks and construct a tavern nearby at the Black Pier. As it was Marik's request, Marik would be named Harbor Master if the project were to be completed. He would have his tavern and the responsibility of administering the land known as the Black Pier. Plans, permission and financing are already in motion. The projected completion date is late winter to early spring of next year.

After the start of the Crusade of the Elements, the people of Zweiwasser and Gorasia made their way south to Kahl'Hatra leaving their prior lands unprotected which included the location of the Salty Stick Tavern.  Thus, the tavern was moved south to the new Barony of East Blackwood in the town of Oak Hill where it is today.

Marik Fulgrimson

Marik Fulgrimson has been named project lead for the construction of the Black Pier and the Salty Stick. Once completed, he will be promoted to Harbor Master and be set to administer the lands of the Black Pier.

After the start of the Crusade of the Elements, the people of Zweiwasser and Gorasia made their way south to Kahl'Hatra leaving their prior lands unprotected which included the location of the Salty Stick Tavern. This brought Marik Fulgrimson and his crew south to Kahl'Hatra and the Duchy of Validar where the East Blackwood Company had prepared a new building to host his tavern.
