Realm of Roses Pact with the Black Dynasty

During the campaign to the Valley of Impermanence, it was discovered that the late Archon of Thorns, Vincent, along with the Nyame of the Roses and her Naches're signed a Non-aggression agreement with their mortal enemy, the Black Dynasty to prevent them from overrunning the realm. The Tulhien of Thorns, Ramirez of Sagara, learned about this pact near one year later during the above mentioned campaign. With a unique opertunity before him, Ramirez attempted to convince various nations of Mythodea to support his mission to exploit the remaining weeks of the contract for military gain.

During the campaign in the Valley of Impermanence, Baron Dagger of East Blackwood was the lord in charge of the Validar War Camp and thus it fell on him to make diplomatic decisions. When Ramirez approached Lord Dagger, Lord Dagger chose to support Ramirez in spite of counsel against it.

After leaving both Archon Colin of the West and Archon Eurestus of the South, Baron Dagger and Sir Maron made their way to the Fortress of Diversity to ask Kaela if she had learned anything new concerning the pact and if she would revoke or maintain support for the Regent Ramirez's plan.  Kaela, though busy, claimed she would be revoking the support of the Fortress of Diversity's support later in the day.  With this information it was time for Validar to make a decision.

Meeting with Kaela, Storm of the Fortress

Baron Dagger Arkenstone of East Blackwood and Master Djako Kaevh of the East Blackwood Company met with Kaela, Storm of the Fortress late in the final evening of the campaign.  Kaela, at dinner, spoke at length with Dagger.  What first was a social meeting turned quickly to a diplomatic discussion where Kaela learned a lot about East Blackwood, the Kingdom of Blackwood and Lord Dagger himself.  The conversation may likely prove to be damaging to the prospects of East Blackwood within Mythodea but only time will tell. Perhaps it will not be so in the future. 

As part of the meeting, Baron Dagger also delivered Dame Sayeh's gift of tea to Kaela.
